China is planning several ambitious deep-space missions in the coming years.
Here are three major ones to watch:
Chang’e-7 (2026)

A robotic mission to explore the Moon’s south pole, where scientists believe water ice may exist in permanently shadowed craters.
Tianwen-3 (2028)
Designed to collect samples from Mars and bring them back to Earth — something only a few space agencies are currently attempting.
Tianwen-4 (2030)
A mission planned to explore Jupiter and some of its moons, helping scientists study the outer Solar System.

If successful, these missions could reveal new clues about water, planetary formation, and the history of our Solar System.
