A Birthday the World Doesn’t Always See

Happy birthday to my daughter — the brightest light in my life, the one who taught me what unconditional love truly means. Today should be filled with laughter, warm wishes, and voices celebrating her existence. Yet, I know there are people who will scroll past this moment in silence, choosing not to say a word simply because she is different.

But what they fail to see is her strength, her courage, and the quiet beauty that shines through her every day. She faces a world that doesn’t always understand her, yet she greets it with a heart that remains kind, open, and full of hope. While some may withhold their words, they cannot diminish the love that surrounds her or the pride I feel as her parent.

On this special day, I don’t wish for the world’s approval — I wish for her to always believe in her own worth. Because she is not defined by what makes her different, but by the incredible soul she is. And to me, that is more than enough.
