Dylan’s Journey: How One Family Was Broken by Fear, Tested by Endless Uncertainty, and Held Together Only by Unwavering Love.

“Born 2 1/2 months early, my baby boy fought for his life. Would we ever get to take him home?”

When Dylan was born prematurely at just 29 weeks, weighing only 3 pounds, our world was turned upside down. I couldn’t hold him; all I could do was watch as the doctors worked tirelessly to keep him alive. For three long months, we lived in the NICU, holding onto hope as Dylan battled breathing issues, feeding difficulties, and constant uncertainty.

Each day brought a new challenge, but also small victories. Dylan’s strength and determination were evident in every step he took. Every milestone he reached was hard-won, and each therapy session reminded us of the long road ahead. At 8 months, Dylan is still three months behind in his development, but his resilience continues to amaze us.

Through this journey, I’ve learned to treasure the smallest moments—every smile, every sound, every step forward. Dylan is our miracle, and each day with him is a gift.
