A Celebration That Became a Farewell: Jacob Layne’s Story

Jacob Layne was only eleven years old. He was a bright, energetic child who loved karate, swimming, and building worlds out of Legos. Like any boy his age, he should have been excitedly counting down the days to his next birthday. But just twenty-five hours before the event was set to begin, Jacob passed away.
