The discovery, facilitated by the latest synthetic-aperture radar and deep-space imaging arrays, has sparked a global debate over whether these formations are the result of unprecedented natural processes or the structural signatures of an advanced civilization.

The “Polygon” Formations

The scans reveal a series of interlocking, hexagonal, and rectangular structures concentrated in a vast, arid basin.
