“Mum Who Had Four Babies in Just 11 Months — Becky Fell Pregnant with Triplets Two Months After Giving Birth
A mother from Swansea has shared her extraordinary story after giving birth to four babies in just 11 months.
Becky Johns, 30, was stunned to discover she was expecting triplets only weeks after welcoming her daughter, Mya. What began as a hope to give her newborn a sibling quickly turned into something far more unexpected.
“I only wanted one more baby,” Becky said. “I never imagined I’d be having three at once.”
The triplets were born in January, just 11 months after Mya’s arrival the previous February. Becky, who lives with her partner Jason Evans, says people are often amazed when they learn how close together her children were born.

“When strangers stop to look at the four of them, they can’t believe it,” she said. “It still feels unbelievable to me too. Everything happened so quickly.”
Becky and Jason, who also have a nine-year-old daughter, Kayla, had been overjoyed when Mya was born. Not long after, they decided to try for one more baby so Mya would have a close companion growing up.
“We thought it might take a while to conceive,” Becky explained. “But after just a week of trying, I was pregnant again.”
Initially, she prepared herself for the challenge of raising two babies close in age. But during her first scan, she received a shock that completely changed everything.
“The sonographer found three heartbeats,” Becky said. “I had to look at the screen again and count them myself. I couldn’t believe it — I was pregnant with triplets.”
Doctors confirmed that the babies were naturally conceived and each came from a separate egg — a rare occurrence. Because each baby had its own placenta, the pregnancy carried fewer risks than some multiple pregnancies.
“When we told people, no one believed us at first,” she said. “Jason loves to joke around, so even when he showed the scan photo, people thought he was kidding.”
Throughout the pregnancy, Becky attended regular check-ups to ensure the babies were developing well. The couple even gave the trio playful nicknames — “Snap, Crackle, and Pop.”
“It was amazing feeling them all moving,” she said. “We had no idea what to name them at the time, so those nicknames just stuck.”
At 34 weeks pregnant, Becky delivered the triplets by cesarean section at the end of January.
“I was so big I could barely move,” she recalled. “The doctors wanted to deliver them before I went into labor naturally to reduce any risks. I was nervous, but I couldn’t wait to meet them.”
The babies — Ryan, Raya, and Phoebe — were all born at healthy weights, ranging between 4 lb 3 oz and 4 lb 12 oz.
“I couldn’t believe I’d been carrying nearly 15 pounds of babies,” Becky said. “I was just so relieved they were all healthy.”

After spending about six weeks in the hospital, the triplets were finally allowed home in March.
Life since then has been busy — and a little crowded.
“We had to get a four-seater pram,” Becky said with a smile. “Mya had her first birthday when the triplets were just two weeks old. The house feels a bit packed now, but it’s completely worth it.”
Big sister Kayla has embraced her new role, and Becky loves knowing that Mya and the triplets will grow up so close in age.
“It’s going to be so special watching them grow up together,” she said.”
