“Doctors Said It Was Too Dangerous — She Proved Them Wrong With Three Healthy Babies”
For most of her life, Ange has lived under the weight of judgment. But nothing compared to the scrutiny she faced when she became pregnant. At 1.62 meters tall and around 97 kilograms, the Somerset mother says her body became the center of every medical conversation the moment she walked into a clinic.
After welcoming her first child, Dottie, in 2016 without complications, Ange believed she had already proven that her body was capable. But at 38, she was stunned to learn she was pregnant again — this time with triplets. What followed was not celebration, but fear-driven advice. Some medical professionals suggested reducing the pregnancy, warning that carrying all three babies could be too dangerous.

The words left her shaken, but not defeated. Ange had heard similar warnings before. During her first pregnancy, she had been told her size alone put her at risk for serious complications. Yet none of those predictions came true. She remained healthy, and her daughter was born safely.
Determined to trust her own body, Ange moved forward with strength and resilience. Despite expectations that triplet pregnancies often end early, she carried all three babies to 35 weeks — a remarkable milestone.

On August 18, 2022, she gave birth via cesarean section. Each baby arrived strong, weighing above average for triplets. It was a moment that quietly challenged every doubt placed on her journey.
Today, Ange shares her story not to dismiss medical caution, but to remind others that every pregnancy is different. Behind every number is a human story — one that cannot always be predicted by charts or assumptions.
