Today is the day.

The day I never imagined would be part of my story… yet here I am, standing at the edge of one of the biggest battles of my life.

My name is Paula. And this morning, I’m walking into surgery to remove cancer from my body. Even writing those words feels unreal. Cancer… a word I never thought would become part of my journey. But life has a way of testing us in ways we never expect.

Right now, I feel everything—fear, hope, faith, and love all at once. I think about the little things: the laughter I’m not ready to lose, the hugs I still want to hold onto, the people who mean everything to me.

This isn’t just surgery.
It’s a turning point.

A moment where faith must be louder than fear…
and courage must rise above the pain.

Today, I choose courage.
I choose to believe healing is coming.
I choose to believe brighter days are ahead.
